Jenna Blusiewicz, Breakthrough T1D DSW Corporate Coordinator went to a check presentation last week at the Chicago Cubs last spring training game. An organization called The Fergie Jenkins Foundation (a hall of fame Cubs player) raises money each year, especially, during spring training for a variety of non-profit foundations. Because Fergie had a relationship with Ron Santo, they chose the Desert Southwest Chapter of Breakthrough T1D as a recipient this year! The check was for $1,500!!
