She is from Wisconsin and lived in the Midwest until moving to Arizona in 2022. Prior to Breakthrough T1D, Andrea worked at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society focusing on cycling events. Andrea is excited about joining the Breakthrough T1D team and hopes to cultivate relationships in the community, spread awareness, and help create a world without <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breakthrought1d.org\/t1d-basics\/\">type 1 diabetes<\/a> (T1D).<\/p>\n<p>Andrea\u2019s favorite food is any type of chips and dip, and her favorite show is How I Met Your Mother. When she\u2019s not working, Andrea enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking, thrifting, and exploring the community.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Welcome Andrea!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>.The Breakthrough T1D Desert West Chapter is excited to add Andrea Gonzalez to our team!
