Registration for the Breakthrough T1D One Walk is now open and we invite you to join 8,000 people affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D) at walks in Columbus (October 3^rd), Atlanta (October 17^th), and Athens (October 24^th ).

In a sea of blue and orange shirts, you’ll find people just like you – children, adults, families, co-workers, and friends – walking together because they are committed to finding a cure for T1D. Whether you’re a first-timer or veteran walker, the connection and camaraderie you’ll experience will be life-changing. And because so many others have turned this experience into successful fundraising, we’ve been able to raise more than $1 billion dollars for groundbreaking discoveries in T1D research.

Here’s how you can get started helping Breakthrough T1D turn Type One into TypeNone:

1. Sign up to be a One Walk Team Captain and register your team or join an existing team.
2. Set recruitment and fundraising goals for your team.
3. Recruit, recruit, recruit! Get everyone you know to join your team.
4. Be a coach and cheerleader, and show your team how to be successful at their own personal Walk goals.
5. Walk!
