2016 Atlanta ONE Group honoree, Emery Cresswell, has already raised almost $7,000 for Breakthrough T1D making him the current top fundraiser. Emery joined Newmark Grubb Knight Frank in 2013 as an associate in the firm’s Atlanta office specializing in national tenant advisory. Emery’s motivation to apply and join this year’s ONE Group was to get more involved with Breakthrough T1D as he himself lives with T1D.
Emery is joined by a class of 29 outstanding honorees who have each committed to raising a minimum of $2,500. They were all nominated by their peers, friends and companies and selected by the Breakthrough T1D Board of Directors Committee for their outstanding efforts within their profession and the community. This year, an unprecedented number of honorees (more than half) either have T1D or are closely related to someone affected by T1D.
