Hello Breakthrough T1D Advocates!
It’s that time of year again—time to start thinking about JDRF’s 2016 Government Day in Washington, DC. As many of you are aware, this is a time for us to meet with our Senators and Members of Congress or their staff and remind them to continue to support Breakthrough T1D research and the Special Diabetes Program.
The Eastern PA Chapter will be taking a bus to Washington, DC on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 departing from Lord and Taylor at King of Prussia Plaza at 7:30 a.m., returning back from Washington at 4:15 p.m. and arriving back at King of Prussia approx. 7:00 p.m. As usual, there is no charge for this trip.
There is limited seating on the bus so please let Dan know by Friday, March 4 at the latest if you are interested in attending; for those who do sign up, more details will follow in the coming weeks. Seats go very quickly so please register soon to avoid disappointment. Please do not register if you might not be able to make it. All the advocates on the bus are allocated to specific meetings with Members of Congress and our Senatorial offices so we need each and every one who registers.
