For two years, we\u2019ve pounded the pavement in separate neighborhoods. We\u2019ve fundraised over Zoom, counted our miles on Strava, and connected with each other online.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: #0e101a\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: #0e101a\">And while the past two years have been trying in many ways, our community rallied together to raise $2.2 million to power research, enable advocacy, and fund support for the 1.6 million Americans living with T1D. And we\u2019ve learned\u00a0<em><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">a lot<\/span><\/em>\u00a0over the past two years, but we won\u2019t lie\u2026 we missed seeing your faces on walk day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: #0e101a\">Today, the wait is almost over.\u00a0<strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">In less than ONE month, we\u2019ll be launching One Walk 2022 with three in-person opportunities.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: #0e101a\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: #0e101a\">\u00a0So GET READY, because we need to come back STRONG. At the end of March, we need you to\u2026\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: #0e101a\">1. Register and recruit\u00a0<em><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">(teams who register earlier tend to raise more money!)<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: #0e101a\">2. Set your goal\u00a0<em><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">(choose a realistic number but make it a challenge! You can always increase it later)<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: #0e101a\">3. Plan your year\u2019s fundraisers\u00a0<em><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">(create your roadmap to help you get to your goal. Need ideas?
