Whether you gave your time, resources, or encouragement, your impact has been profound.<\/p>\n<p>The year 2024 will be one we will always remember with so many developments and accomplishments, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Most successful fundraising year in our history and more funding for critical mission and research work.<\/li>\n<li>Exciting developments throughout our research portfolio, especially around cell therapies and clinical trials. Click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breakthrought1d.org\/news-and-updates\/vertex-launches-pivotal-trial-for-stem-cell-derived-islet-therapy\/?utm_source=national_5000&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=RES-FY25-Research+The+Pipeline+Monthly+Email+(11-19-24)&amp;utm_content=Vertex+announced&amp;s_src=national_5000&amp;s_subsrc=RES-FY25-Research+The+Pipeline+Monthly+Email+(11-19-24)_Vertex+announced\">here<\/a> to read more about Vertex\u2019s pivotal trial.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breakthrought1d.org\/fundraise\/gala\/\">Galas<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.breakthrought1d.org\/site\/SPageServer?pagename=walk_homepage\">Walks<\/a> across the Southern Texas Chapter exceeded goals resulting in over $6.5M in contributions and an additional $2M in major gift contributions.<\/li>\n<li>Over 700 Bags of Hope and Care Kits distributed to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breakthrought1d.org\/newly-diagnosed\/\">newly diagnosed<\/a> families and individuals, and thousands of attendees to our community events and Type One Nations.<\/li>\n<li>Of course, our transition in June from JDRF to <strong>Breakthrough T1D!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Together, we\u2019ve made a difference in the lives of so many, and we couldn&#8217;t have done it without you.<\/p>\n<p>This holiday season, we celebrate your kindness and this incredible community. I wish you and your loved ones a joyful holiday and a New Year filled with peace, happiness, and success.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for being an essential part of our journey.
