Breakthrough T1D New England Chapter is proud to honor Moira McCarthy Stanford and Sean Stanford at One Night – our 34th Annual Boston Gala for their commitment to creating a world without T1D. Their walk team–Got Islets–has raised more than $130,000 for T1D research; they have hosted a table at Gala for many years and most recently they conquered the Ride program. Moira was awarded the Yellow Jersey for top recruiter along with the prestigious Rose Promise Jersey for the most dedicated Breakthrough T1D rider. Last summer she and Lauren together finished the 100-mile Breakthrough T1D Ride in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
