When Caitlin Marino was diagnosed with T1D in March of 1991, the Marino Family team began actively raising funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. In 2006, as virtually newlyweds, Caitlin recognized the symptoms in her husband, Kevin Lang, and he ultimately was diagnosed with T1D. Their fundraising continued, although remained small. In September 2013, and March 2014, Caitlin and Kevin’s identical twin daughters were diagnosed at the age of 5 years old. It was then that Caitlin and Kevin’s family and friends decided they needed to increase their efforts and Team Four of A Kind For A Cure was formed! During their inaugural event, Team Four of A Kind For A Cure was able to send over $7,500 to Breakthrough T1D! In 2015, they surpassed their goal and raised close to $15,000! We hope you can join them as they continue to raise awareness and fight to cure T1D!
