Join the Breakthrough T1D Greater New England Chapter for a school health team webinar as we discuss specific considerations for 504 plans and how they are helpful to students living with type 1 diabetes (T1D). The presentation will also include how to best advocate for your students as well as what is important for students, parents, and the school. The intended audience for this webinar is members of the school health team, including school nurses, principals, guidance counselors, psychologists, social workers, and 504 coordinators.
Following the main presentation attendees will join breakout rooms for further discussion and best practice sharing by grade level. Please bring a question or a tip to share about your experiences with writing and/or implementing 504 Plans for children with T1D.
