Roman was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in January 2023. Despite the <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">challenges, Roman has refused to let T1D stop him from living the active life he loves. To stay positive, he plays soccer, lacrosse, and basketball and loves to fish! 2023 was Roman\u2019s first Beat the Bridge and blew it out of the water with a huge team of supportive friends and family.
