Darren and I are excited to invite you to join us at this year’s Tee Up to Cure Diabetes Golf and Pickleball Outing, which is being held on Monday, June 2 at Fresh Meadow Country Club in Lake Success, NY.  With your generous support, the Greater New York Chapter of Breakthrough T1D (formally JDRF) raised over $270,000 at this event last year to fund the critical work of Breakthrough T1D and help it to further their mission of improving lives today and tomorrow by accelerating life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications.

For 2025, Darren and I will cover the full cost of your attendance at the event, whether you join Darren for a great day of golf (a $1,000 value), play pickleball ($500 value) or you join Darren and me for the evening program (a $300 value) so that any donations that you make can go directly to Breakthrough T1D and be 100% tax deductible.

Below are some more details about the golf/evening program: 

If you would like to join Darren for a great day of golf at an amazing golf course, you would receive a round of 18 holes of golf, use of the driving range and putting green, lunch, a player’s gift and inclusion in the evening’s dinner festivities.

Pickleball players will play a full day, have a lunch break, and join for the evening program.

If you would prefer to skip the golf and pickleball and only join Darren and me for the evening program (5-8PM), there would be food and drink at a lovely cocktail hour at 5PM and a buffet dinner at 6-8PM, as well as a silent auction with great experiences to bid on and the ability to participate in Fund-A-Cure where you can make tax deductible donations to Breakthrough T1D.

This is a great opportunity for us to get together and have some fun, while supporting an important cause, so we hope that you can join us and drive for a cure!
