Our daughter Clementine was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in July of 2020 during the pandemic while at summer camp. Needless to say, it was incredibly traumatic. Her life and our lives changed instantly and dramatically.

Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease with no cure. Individuals with Type 1 need insulin to stay alive. It affects 8.4 million individuals worldwide.
