Are you comfortable in front of a camera and LOVE talking about Breakthrough T1D? We have the perfect opportunity for you! Breakthrough T1D is currently in search of individuals in the Kansas & Missouri area willing to volunteer as an ongoing Breakthrough T1D Media Representative.

Some examples of media related topics included but are not limited to:

• Insulin Affordability
• Medicare
• Tzield or T1D Antibodies
• Other media related topics

Qualifications of Breakthrough T1D Media Representative Volunteer:

• Have type 1 diabetes OR an immediate family member with type 1 diabetes
• Be willing to speak in front of media outlets both virtually and in person
• Be willing to speak openly about T1D, your diagnosis (or family member’s diagnosis) and your involvement with Breakthrough T1D
• Attend a virtual media training (date to be determined)

Please note: You do not need to be an expert on all things Breakthrough T1D! We are looking for you to share your story and personal connection to Breakthrough T1D. Additionally, a virtual media training will be hosted to provide media talking points.
