November Marks National Diabetes Awareness Month (NDAM)
November marks National Diabetes Awareness Month (NDAM), a time when the world comes together to shed light on a chronic disease that affects millions. Moving Forward for Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) unites us as a community, urging everyone to join in and stride towards a brighter, healthier future for those living with T1D. The need for awareness and education of T1D is more important than ever and this National Diabetes Awareness Month, we’re asking you to join us!
This year, we’re showing the world how we’re moving Forward together. In this movement Forward, progress and innovation propel us toward life-changing breakthroughs, so that we can end type 1 diabetes once and for all. We’re celebrating the progress we’ve made, the progress to come, and the community that helps us all move #ForwardAs1 every single day. Forward reminds us to think about WHAT and WHO this progress is for. For better awareness, for our community, for better health, and for cures.
From #T1Day on November 1 to World Diabetes Day on November 14, there are so many ways to make your voice heard. To learn how you can help us make a difference this November, visit jdrf.org/ndam.
Together, we can raise awareness, foster a sense of community, prioritize improved health, and champion research for cures. Type 1 diabetes won’t stop us from moving forward.
Forward is what fuels our vision and mission to support those with T1D while we work tirelessly for a brighter tomorrow and a world without T1D, and we can’t do what we do without you. Let’s do this!
