It’s walk season! The Breakthrough T1D Walk is the nation’s largest and most powerful type 1 diabetes (T1D) event and NOW is the perfect time to jump in and join this incredible community.

The Kansas & Missouri chapter hosts multiple walks throughout the Kansas & Missouri area, including the St. Louis One Walk (September 29), Kansas City One Walk (October 20) and Wichita Community One Walk (September 7). Apply as a Breakthrough T1D Walk Youth Ambassador

Walk Youth Ambassadors are individuals 5-17 living with type 1 diabetes and are the face of the Breakthrough T1D Kansas & Missouri Chapter. These ambassadors are a vital part in making walk day a success.

Apply to be a Youth Ambassador today and be a part of the first Kansas & Missouri Breakthrough T1D Walks! The deadline to apply is Friday, June 28, 2024 at 5:00PM.

Please note: A volunteer selection committee will be reviewing all applications. Youth Ambassadors selections will be announced by the end of July.
