Make a Difference by Joining a Team Breakthrough T1D Event Today!
in General
YOU can make a difference in the lives of those living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) by joining Team Breakthrough T1D to Cure Diabetes. Team Breakthrough T1D is a unique and exciting way to fight diabetes. Participants run or walk their choice of distance in an endurance event while raising the money needed to fund research for better treatments and a cure for T1D.
Runners and walkers join for many reasons. Megan is running and fundraising in honor of her husband, Jason, who was diagnosed with T1D as a child. Jennifer is participating to help find a cure for her son and the millions of other children and adults who live with the pressure of T1D. Eric has joined Team Breakthrough T1D along with his daughter, Lauren, to tackle a Half Marathon and T1D together.
Not a runner? That’s okay! Group training provided by Running Fit is offered as a perk of joining Team Breakthrough T1D and many of the events have the option to run OR walk. Team Breakthrough T1D is a great time to get to know others involved with Breakthrough T1D and to be active. Join Team Breakthrough T1D for one of our unique endurance events today!
