About Breakthrough T1D:
Breakthrough T1D is the leading global organization focused on type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Breakthrough T1D’s goal is to progressively remove the impact of T1D from people’s lives until they achieve a world without T1D. As the Foreigner Smalllargest charitable supporter of T1D research, Breakthrough T1D has invested nearly $2B in research over the past 45 years and is sponsoring scientific research in 17 countries worldwide.

“We are so pleased to be collaborating with Breakthrough T1D for such a meaningful program,” says Foreigner founder/lead guitarist, Mick Jones, Songwriters Hall Of Fame member who either wrote or co-wrote every Foreigner song. “Type 1 diabetes is a cause close to
our heart, as our longtime tour manager’s daughter was diagnosed with T1D in 2003 when she was 4 years old. There is tremendous anticipation around our first ever live acoustic album, and we’re glad we could donate our performance fees and royalties to benefit such an important cause.”
