Breakthrough T1D Volunteers!

The Fresh Market is partnering with Breakthrough T1D to create a world without type 1 diabetes! Their fundraising campaign (May 18^th – June 5^th) consists of selling paper sneakers at the register for a $1 donation, as well as hosting their “Hope Floats” Sidewalk Sale Friday, June 3, Saturday, June 4 and Sunday, June 5 at all of their seven area locations:

Volunteers are needed during the Sidewalk Sales to greet and thank customers and talk about Breakthrough T1D and life with type 1 diabetes. Having volunteers who are excited about Breakthrough T1D present at the Sidewalk Sale really motivates and inspires the Fresh Market employees and that translates into more money being raised for Breakthrough T1D! This is also a great opportunity to include your kids and family with a fun volunteer project (especially students that need service learning/volunteer hours!)
