Breakthrough T1D to Honor Adele & Michael Greenebaum at the 32nd Annual Hope Gala
On November 2, the Breakthrough T1D Maryland Chapter will honor Adele & Michael Greenebaum at the 32nd Annual Hope Gala at the Hilton Baltimore.
Adele and Michael Greenebaum are committed to improving the human condition through education and medicine. The Greenebaum Family Foundation has been instrumental in making a difference in the lives of Marylanders and beyond through generous support to local hospital systems and research institutions.
The Foundation has primarily focused on cancer research and care, as well as other medical areas, including neurology and diabetes. Michael’s father, Stewart Greenebaum had diabetes and was active in diabetes research and treatment solutions. Michael and Adele understand first-hand the complications that can occur from diabetes, including kidney disease. The family has a long history with Dr. Matthew Weir, who treated Stewart, and understands the critical importance of improving the lives of people with diabetes.
Michael Greenebaum is President of Greenebaum Enterprises, Inc., a regional real estate development company. He serves on the board of the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center and is a member of the University of Maryland School of Medicine Board of Visitors.
Adele Greenebaum is the President of ARK Design LLC, a commercial interior design firm.
