Are you a student with T1D between the ages of 7 and 17 who would like to be more involved with Breakthrough T1D Leadership?

We invite you to apply to be part of the 2020 Breakthrough T1D Youth Ambassador Program, a unique and valued opportunity to serve the type 1 diabetes community (T1D.) Children living with type 1 diabetes who are between the ages of 7 and 17 (first grade to senior year in high school ), and their families who are interested in becoming involved with the educational and volunteer efforts of the Breakthrough T1D Rocky Mountain Chapter are eligible.

Youth Ambassadors increase awareness of T1D in the community and support the mission of Breakthrough T1D to fund research to find better treatments and a cure for T1D. Benefits for participants include building confidence through public speaking and advocacy; meeting other people living with T1D; earning service hours for school and club requirements; building college resumes; and learning more about the work being led by Breakthrough T1D.
