2020 Breakthrough T1D Dream Gala Auction Preview
in Fundraising, General
Spring is on its way, and so is Breakthrough T1D’s Dream Gala. The May 16 Gala at the Hyatt Regency/Colorado Convention Center will feature an auction of fun, unique and sensational packages to generate funds that support cutting-edge type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.
Looking to grow your wine collection? – Thanks to a generous contribution from the Cosgriff family, this year’s auction will feature an instant wine cellar. The winning bidder will receive an assortment of wines from vineyards such as Chateau Mouton Rothschild, Opus One, and Joseph Phelps. Bottles range in value from $50 to $1,500. Special thanks to Corkscrews Wine Storage of Denver who is properly storing the wine and will deliver to the winning bidder.
Are you a super-fan of the Jonas Brothers? This years auction includes the ultimate memorabilia for the biggest Jonas Brothers fans! The winning bidder will receive a Breakthrough T1D Rufus the Bear with Diabetes and an Unstoppable Type T-Shirt signed by the Jonas Brothers during their recent tour stop in Colorado.
Can’t make it to the Breakthrough T1D Dream Gala but still interested in bidding on the exciting Live and Silent Auction packages? Sign up to bid remotely on Silent Auction items by CLICKING HERE and contact Dana Slack to sign up to for proxy bidding services on any of the Live Auction packages.
The Gala auction would not be possible without the dedication and passion of the incredible Procurement Committee chaired by Meredith Coors and Richard Cohen. Support their efforts by:
- Helping us create a memorable and special trip of a lifetime – donate your hotel rewards points to Breakthrough T1D.
- Donating a bottle of whiskey to our “Whiskey Pull”. Much like a traditional wine pull, Gala attendees will have the opportunity to purchase a bottle of whiskey at random. We ask that all bottles donated are valued at $40 or higher.
