When putting together your <strong>&#8220;Breakthroughs For&#8221;<\/strong> silent auction package, think about your loved one&#8217;s hobbies, your family\u2019s favorite activity in your area or what you think would appeal to our gala attendees.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do I create a &#8220;Breakthroughs For&#8221; Basket and what do I include?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Baskets should have a value of at least $150.<\/strong> You may solicit items to be donated or purchase them yourself. Our Gala Committee is actively pursuing donations from local businesses, please review potential donation solicitations with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breakthrought1d.org\/\">Breakthrough T1D<\/a> staff to avoid duplicate requests.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The basket should have a theme<\/strong> \u2013 focus on your loved ones&#8217; favorite things or experiences that represent their interests\/passions.<\/li>\n<li>Each <strong>&#8220;Breakthroughs For&#8221;<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Basket display will include a photo of the Honoree and a description of the package<\/strong> contents (please provide a photo of your loved one to be displayed).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Example:<\/strong><br \/>\nJane Smith\u2019s &#8220;Breakthroughs For&#8221; Basket<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Theme: Disney Movie Night<\/li>\n<li>Items: Jane\u2019s favorite movies, a Netflix gift card, cozy blankets, popcorn, popcorn seasoning, popcorn bowls, drink cups &amp; candy.<\/li>\n<li>Value: $150<\/li>\n<li>Donated by: The Smith Family<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Next Steps<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Email Shellie <span style=\"color: #002bff\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Gomes (<a href=\"mailto:shellie.gomes@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shellie.gomes@gmail.com<\/a>), &#8220;Breakthroughs For&#8221; Basket Volunteer Chair, and let her know of your commitment to provide a Basket.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Please deliver or mail your Basket items with the completed &#8220;Breakthroughs For&#8221; Basket Commitment Form<span style=\"color: #002bff\">\u00a0<\/span>to Breakthrough T1D no later than<strong> February 28, 2025<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Breakthrough T1D Nebraska-Iowa Chapter<br \/>\n9202 West Dodge Road, Suite 304, Omaha, NE 68114<br \/>\nPhone: 402-397-2873<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Questions?
