About

Join us to hear about the latest type 1 diabetes (T1D) research advances – including exciting information about the announcement of Project ACT (Accelerate Cell Therapies) – a watershed moment for the T1D community.

Our speaker will be Jill Rotella. Jill is the Nebraska Mission Impact Volunteer and President-Elect of the Nebraska Board of Directors. The evening will include drinks, light appetizers, and time to socialize with others in the Lincoln T1D community.

Please RSVP to Alex Reed for food and seating purposes, no later than Friday, May 2nd.

Jill Rotella holds an RN, BSN from College of St. Mary and Nebraska Wesleyan. Her son, Louie, was diagnosed with T1D 17 years ago at the age of 8. Since that time, she served as a member of our Board of Directors (2011-2017 and 2020-Present), Board President (2016-2017), President-Elect (2024-2025), Gala Leadership (2014 and 2023), and Mission Impact Volunteer (2020-Present).
