He and his wife Susan, looked to the local Breakthrough T1D chapter and T1D community for support as they traversed a new routine of daily blood sugar management. This was at a time when insulin pumps, CGMs, and modern-day blood sugar meters did not exist. For over 30 years, Larry and his family have given countless hours to support Breakthrough T1D and our mission to end type 1 diabetes. Their efforts helped fund life altering research and technological advancements for all type 1 diabetics.
