This Saturday March 5, 2022, over 100 T1D families will come together for our first in-person TypeOneNation Summit<\/a> since 2019! <\/strong><\/p>\n

TypeOneNation Summit has always been an opportunity to connect with other newly-diagnosed T1Ds and families in our area, and this year will be no exception! Guests will hear and learn from keynote speaker Dr. Sanjoy Dutta, Breakthrough T1D Chief Scientific Officer, on current diabetes research and progress. Next, attendees will attend a breakout session: either Gary Scheiner, MS, CDE on Sports\/Exercise and Blood Glucose Control and Tonya McGahey, MA, BSN, RN, CDCES on Removing the Fear of Diabetes. Throughout the event, industry leaders and local vendors will be on hand to talk about products, resources, and support.<\/p>\n

JDRF\u2019s TypeOneNation Virtual Summit<\/a><\/strong> is now a year-long program, offering one educational session the first Thursday of every month to help you and your loved ones live well with T1D. Experts from across the country will join us each month to share their knowledge on important topics that affect those of us living with or caring for someone with T1D.
