Dr. Gary L. Goldberg
Dr. Gary L. Goldberg is a NJ and NY licensed psychologist He earned a BA in Psychology from Brooklyn College in 1969; an MS in Clinical School Psychology from CCNY in 1976; and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from NYU in 1989. He has over 35 years of experience helping people who suffer from an array of emotional and physical conditions. He specializes in Clinical Health Psychology. He is experienced working with people of all ages from childhood to elder care. Dr. Goldberg has training and experience using many strategies that have shown to be the most effective in helping people to achieve relief, comply with treatment, and hasten recovery from their physical and emotional conditions. These strategies include: cognitive behavioral therapy; hypnotherapy; biofeedback; guided imagery; relaxation training; and meditation.
Dr. Goldberg is on the medical staff of St. Barnabas Medical Center. He has been an Adjunct, Associate Professor in the Institute for Complementary and Alternative Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, as well as an adjunct professor in graduate psychology at Seton Hall University.
