Applications are now being taken for the Breakthrough T1D Advocates in Action Council (AAC). The AAC is a group of young adults–business and civic professionals as well as students–who actively support the advancement of Breakthrough T1D’s advocacy priority areas, spread of awareness of type 1 diabetes (T1D) within their communities, and inspire youth to use their voices and share their stories to help drive meaningful change, all of which is in the pursuit of ultimately finding cures for T1D.

Young adults ages 18–26 who are interested in applying to become a member of Breakthrough T1D’s AAC can submit an online application beginning September 1, 2022. The new class of AAC members will be announced in January 2023.
