The Breakthrough T1D Walk Season is Here!

Now that summer is winding down, the countdown to Walk has officially begun! We are just under six weeks out from our first Walk in Avon-by-the-Sea, eight weeks out from our second Walk in Piscataway, and nine weeks out from our third walk in Jersey City!
To kick off the 2024 Breakthrough T1D Walk season NJ Metro Chapter Staff welcomed new and returning walk teams to our office for our very first Walk Open House. A successful first open house made for a great start to the season! In addition to the Walk Open House, we are excited to share the return of the “First Step” series. This virtual and in-person series is a great way to learn more about the 2024 walk season, meet chapter staff, and connect with other T1D community members. Consider joining us at one of our next “First Step” meetings: The “First Step” Series.
