JDRF’s Top Ten Advances of 2023<\/h3>\n

We have many reasons to celebrate in the type 1 diabetes (T1D) community and we are so grateful. What Drug Will Be the Next Tzield?<\/h3>\n

Last year, Tzield became the first disease-modifying therapy (DMT) approved for T1D. Breakthrough T1D\u2019s DMT pipeline is stocked with other therapies that have the potential to join it as an approved therapy in the US and worldwide. The Breakthrough T1D Tee to Table<\/a> event is a premier experience on the beautiful California coast, benefiting Breakthrough T1D and T1D research. This year\u2019s event will be celebrated with a “Casino Royale – Spy a Cure for T1D” theme and will feature a golf scramble on the Ocean Course, a tennis round-robin and a pickleball round-robin (NEW!), followed by cocktails, a gourmet dinner, a spectacular live auction, Fund A Cure program with speaker Ali Jordan, and dancing to the fabulous cover band, Hip Service. New Year’s Resolution: Become a Breakthrough T1D Advocate!<\/h3>\n

Breakthrough T1D Advocates help build and sustain critical support for T1D research funded by the Federal Government by raising awareness among Members of Congress of the financial, medical and emotional costs of the disease.
