Fund A Cure donations will be invested in Breakthrough T1D\u2019s effective and focused research agenda aimed to progressively remove the impact of T1D from people\u2019s lives until there is a cure. <a href=\"https:\/\/breakthrought1d-northernca.ejoinme.org\/MyEvents\/FY26SanFranciscoGala\/FundACure\/tabid\/1544648\/Default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fund A Cure donations may be made here.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Meet the 2026 San Francisco Gala Fund A Cure Champions:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3 aria-hidden=\"true\" data-uw-rm-heading=\"hide\"><strong>AVERY<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Age: 13 | Age at T1D Diagnosis: 1<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the hardest part of living with T1D?<\/strong> The hardest part of living with T1D is managing highs and lows and device changes while also trying to manage daily life.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What would a cure mean to you?<\/strong> A cure would take away the burden of all of the responsibilities of T1D.
