Thank you to everyone who joined Breakthrough T1D at the Walk Kick Off!
We enjoyed a beautiful, breezy day at Shoreline Lake in Mountain View on Friday, July 13, with lots of festive pre-Walk celebration. It was great to greet old friends and see new faces. Guests enjoyed a delicious lunch provided by Shoreline Lake Aquatic Center and Café, and had a blast paddle boating, canoeing, sailing and kayaking around the lake. The afternoon was a HUGE success – congratulations go to Julie Beck, who won a free sailing lesson for being captain of our top fundraising team by the Kick Off!
