Kids living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) and families are invited for a morning of fun, kid’s crafts, information, and an opportunity to connect with other families in the T1D community!

Meet Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF) staff and staff from Stanford Children’s Medicine Palo Alto. You will all meet Rufus the Bear, and your kids will have the opportunity to participate in Rufus-inspired activities and meet other children living with T1D! And make sure to bring your Rufus with you for a diabetes check-up!

Light breakfast will be provided. Space is limited. You do not need to be a patient of Stanford to attend.

Mitchell Park Community Center Palo Alto - West Palo Alto Room

We will be in the West Palo Alto Community Room. Park in the lot in front of the community center and library. After parking, walk towards the library entrance. Before entering the library, to the right of their entrance door, you will see a courtyard. Enter the courtyard. The West Palo Alto room will be the room directly across the courtyard. All rooms have a placard to the right or left of the door indicating their name.
