Breakthrough T1D Collaboration Leads to Next-Generation Cell Therapy\u00a0Research<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>
\nJDRF<\/span>\u00a0is committed to supporting the development of cell replacement therapies that will one day offer cures for type 1\u00a0diabetes<\/span>\u00a0(T1D).\u00a0Research<\/span>\u00a0is focused on replacing cells that have been lost with donor-derived or renewably sourced cells. Last month, Aspect Biosystems, a company that has received\u00a0JDRF<\/span>\u00a0funding, announced a partnership with Novo Nordisk to develop bioprinted tissue therapies.\u00a0Read more.<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n

A Mother-Daughter Duo Takes On Capitol Hill at the 2023 JDRF<\/span> Government Day<\/strong>
\nJDRF<\/span>\u00a0Government Day is held every spring, when advocacy volunteers from across the US gather in Washington DC to share their stories and advocate for Federal support of T1D\u00a0research<\/span>\u00a0and health policies. Our chapter had six attendees, including Bonnie Carlson and her daughter Marina Kaypaghian.
