Inspirational Highlight – Cade Lott
in General
We love to gush and dote on our Kid’s Walks, and want to highlight a remarkable young man from Frink Chamber’s Elementary. Cade Lott, a sixth grader at Frink Chamber’s, single handedly raised $6,000 this year for Breakthrough T1D, beating his goal of $3,000! He truly is an inspiration to his fellow students, faculty, family, and to us.
This is not the first year that Cade has gone above and beyond to help raise awareness for T1D. Since being diagnosed, Cade has been involved in the Breakthrough T1D Walk.
Cade was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when he was 8 years old. Now, at 12, he is a strong willed kid that doesn’t let diabetes stop him from embracing life like his friends. Among other hobbies, he is an avid baseball player, and enjoys being outdoors.
Cade is determined to help find a cure for himself as well as other kids that have this daily struggle. His strength and dedication is both motivational and admirable.
Thank you Cade for being such an inspiration!
