2025 T1D Community Honoree: Dr. Ahmann

Dr. Ahmann has dedicated his career to improving the health and well-being of individuals with diabetes in Oregon and Southwest Washington through personalized care, diabetes program development, education, clinical research and advocacy. He guided the formation of the Harold Schnitzer Diabetes Health Center at OHSU in 2007 as the only combined pediatric and adult comprehensive diabetes center in the West and served as the director until his recent retirement.
