Do I have to pay for parking?
There is free parking at the Microsoft Commons at 15255 NE 40th St. Redmond, WA 98052
Is lunch provided?
Lunch is provided to all guests. Please note that if you have a specific allergy (nut, soy, or gluten) you are able to bring your own lunch. While the meal service does have gluten free options they cannot guarantee that these items haven’t been contaminated by gluten. Please note in the RSVP if you will be brining your own lunch.
Will there be exhibitors?
Yes! We are excited to have Animas, Dexcom, Omnipod, Medtronic Diabetes, Novo Nordisk, Lilly Diabetes, Rainier Clinical Research Center, Seattle Children’s Research Institute, myabetic, ConnecT1D, Camp Leo, Diabetes Sports Project, Benaroya Research Institute TrialNet, and the Chris Dudley Basketball Camp with us this year! More exhibitors are being added at this time.
The Kids Zone is full- is there a waiting list?
Please sign up for a wait list spot for your child. If a spot opens up the next family in line will be offered the spot automatically through Eventbrite.
Are there activites for my child or teen?
Yes, there is a T1D Teen Time session for T1D Teens only and a Kids Zone. Both are hosted by T1D groups and will have medical staff. We will send follow up information to all parents in October with more information about these two programs and the expectations.
T1D Teen Time 10:00am-12:00pm–Teens ages 13-18 with type 1 diabetes have the opportunity to connect and share in fun activites. The Teen Zone will be lead by Eric Tozer of the Diabetes Sports Project and other T1D athletes. This is for T1Ds only. Please wear active shoes as teens will be outside (weather permitting) for a part the time. Teens will be back in time for lunch with their parents and a chance to engage in the afternoon sessions.
Kids Zone 8:30am-4:00pm–Kids, ages 4 and older, can join Camp Leo volunteers for a day of fun activities. Space is limited.
