Advocates from across the country will soon conduct meetings with their members of Congress through Breakthrough T1D\u2019s Promise to Remember Me Campaign<\/a>. This campaign gives voice to the type 1 diabetes (T1D) community; advances key issues; and offers a unique opportunity for individuals and families to join Congressional meetings and share their experiences of life with T1D.<\/p>\n

The campaign will be conducted July 11 through September 2, and participants will attend online trainings, so they are fully prepared for meetings with their representatives. Advocates will ideally represent a wide range of experiences and backgrounds that include newly diagnosed families to those who have aged into Medicare, with diverse backgrounds and economic circumstances.<\/p>\n
