The weekend was filled with friends (old and new!), inspirational stories, good food and, of course, 100 miles of riding through beautiful central Michigan!<\/p>\n<p>Last month, Le Tour de France wrapped up in France, and so did Mountain West&#8217;s Tour de France Challenge! Overall, we had <strong>over 20 riders<\/strong> participate for the opportunity to win fundraising credits for their upcoming destination rides! Collectively, Mountain West Riders rode over 150 days, 2,700 miles (the distance between Breakthrough T1D headquarters in New York City and one of our <a href=\"https:\/\/secure3.convio.net\/jdrf3\/site\/TR?fr_id=8603&amp;pg=entry\">2022 Ride destinations \u2013 Death Valley<\/a>!), and countless hours!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breakthrought1d.org\/rockymountain\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/164\/2022\/08\/Tour-de-France-Challenge-Winners-FB-POST.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6942 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.breakthrought1d.org\/rockymountain\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/164\/2022\/08\/Tour-de-France-Challenge-Winners-FB-POST-800x800.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to our winners Pat Ferdig, Russ Nielson, Emilio Suarez, Kimberly Zingale and Paige Norton!<\/p>\n<p>Are you interested in joining the Breakthrough T1D Ride Community and putting your miles towards our mission?
