Calling all young basketball enthusiasts with Type 1 Diabetes! If you’re between the ages of 6 and 10 and love the game, mark your calendars for an exciting event hosted by one of our very own Type 1 Diabetes Ambassadors.
Meet Your Host: My name is Reece Goldman, and I’m a 16-year-old with Type 1 Diabetes. Basketball has always been a passion of mine, and I’m thrilled to share my love for the game while creating a safe and supportive space for younger kids who also navigate life with T1D. This clinic is designed to help you build skills, have fun, and connect with others in our amazing T1D community.

What to Expect:
- Fun basketball drills, scrimmages, and interactive games designed for kids at all skill levels.
- Incremental blood sugar checks every 30 minutes to ensure everyone stays safe and comfortable.
- On-site corrections available for any attendees who may need them.
- A low participant-to-instructor ratio (1:7) to ensure personalized attention.

Parents, you’re welcome to stay and watch as your little athletes enjoy this one-of-a-kind clinic!
Why This Matters: As someone who has grown up with Type 1 Diabetes, I know how important it is to feel supported while doing what you love. My goal is to give kids with T1D a chance to enjoy basketball without worrying about managing their condition alone. Together, we can prove that T1D doesn’t have to be a barrier to chasing your dreams.
