Interested in learning more about the groundbreaking research Breakthrough T1D is funding to cure, prevent, and treat type 1 diabetes (T1D) and its complications? Join Breakthrough T1D and the T1D community for an update on the latest advances in prevention, cure, and treatment research.

Kim Fisher, Breakthrough T1D Chapter Board Member and Clinical Trial Education Volunteer, will present on advances in Cure Research. Melissa Goleb, Breakthrough T1D Chapter Board Member and Mission Impact Volunteer will present on Prevetion Research. And Kirin Jamison, Clinical Trial Education Volunteer and Mission Impact Volunteer will present on Management and Improving lives. Topics will include – Beta Cell Therapy, Immunology, Screening, Technology Advances, and Glucose Control.

Light dinner will be provide.

San Mateo Main Library

There is free parking after 5pm in the underground parking lot for the library. Please take the elevator or stairs up to the street level.

When you enter the front entrance of the library, proceed straight past the Friends of the Library Bookstore on your left to the community meeting rooms hallway. Turn left at the end of the hallway and the Oak Room will be on your right.
