ADCES Meeting Brings Together Health Care Specialists in Diabetes<\/strong><\/p>\n

The annual Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (ADCES) meeting brings together clinicians, researchers, and industry leaders together to address key issues affecting people with diabetes. This year, the meeting took place in Houston, Texas, from August 4-7, 2023 and featured presentations from\u00a0Sanjoy Dutta, Ph.D.<\/b>, chief scientific officer at Breakthrough T1D, and\u00a0Anastasia Albanese-O\u2019Neill, Ph.D., APRN, CDCES<\/b>, Breakthrough T1D\u2019s director of community screening and clinical trials education.\u00a0Read the highlights<\/a><\/b>.<\/p>\n

The Breakthrough T1D<\/span> Walktoberfest is Back!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Longtime walkers may remember the super fun Walktoberfest that happened in celebration of the Breakthrough T1D One Walk each year in San Francisco. The Breakthrough T1D NorCal Young Leadership Committee (YLC) is bringing it back with all the festivities, miniature golf, good food and drinks, with proceeds benefiting Breakthrough T1D. It’s happening at\u00a0Stagecoach Greens in San Francisco on Wednesday, October 11, 6:00pm – 9:00pm<\/b>. This is a family-friendly and FREE event.\u00a0Register for Walktoberfest<\/a><\/b>.<\/p>\n
