The past four years have been a learning experience for our family and lots of ups and downs. However, through it all Kennedy has been AMAZING! She is such a warrior and so resilient and has taught our family that consistency and community are everything.<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"none\">This is why we love being part of the Breakthrough T1D community. Getting involved in the walk right away was the best decision. We felt part of something bigger than ourselves to come together to fight for a cure for not only our daughter, but so many others fighting this same disease every day. This will be our 5th year walking and every year we have grown bigger and have added something new to the experience. The walk is such a special day for our family as we all feel empowered to continue moving forward one day at a time! It&#8217;s a spark of hope that someday there will be a cure!
