We are excited to tell you about two campaigns with our valued partner Walgreens. Throughout July, you can show your support for Breakthrough T1D—the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D)—by making a donation at checkout or by purchasing participating products.

Here’s how it works. From July 1 to 31, at more than 8,000 Walgreens locations, guests paying with their credit or debit cards will be prompted on the card “pin pad” to add a $1, $2, $5, or $10 donation to their total bill. All guest donations will directly help Breakthrough T1D fund research to create a world without T1D.

And to sweeten the deal, Walgreens will donate 13 cents to Breakthrough T1D for every 3.0 –3.6 oz. and
10 oz. variety of Russell Stover and Whitman’s Sugar Free candy products purchased in July. Walgreens has committed to donating up to $35,000 to Breakthrough T1D through its Walgreens Way to Well Commitment®. As the leading national chain drugstore, both Walgreens campaigns will heighten awareness of the millions of Americans affected by T1D in the many communities in which the company operates.

A dedicated corporate partner with a commitment to supporting organizations that improve health and wellness, Walgreens has raised more than $20 million for Breakthrough T1D.
