As the year comes to a close, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your support, generosity, and dedication to Breakthrough T1D. Whether you gave your time, resources, or encouragement, your impact has been profound.

The year 2024 will be one we will always remember with so many developments and accomplishments, including:

• Most successful fundraising year in our history and more funding for critical mission and research work.
• Exciting developments throughout our research portfolio, especially around cell therapies and clinical trials. Click here to read more about Vertex’s pivotal trial.
• Galas and Walks across the Southern Texas Chapter exceeded goals resulting in over $6.5M in contributions and an additional $2M in major gift contributions.
• Over 700 Bags of Hope and Care Kits distributed to newly diagnosed families and individuals, and thousands of attendees to our community events and Type One Nations.
• Of course, our transition in June from JDRF to Breakthrough T1D!

Together, we’ve made a difference in the lives of so many, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
