About

The Breakthrough T1D Capital Region Gala is an event of elegance and philanthropy not to miss! The best part? By attending, you are raising awareness and breaking open new possibilities for people facing type 1 diabetes (T1D). At this year’s event, we are proudly honoring Jeff Levy, Chief Banking Officer at Community Bank, N.A.

With your support, we are creating a movement to improve and change life with T1D, advancing breakthroughs on the way to cure the condition. Join us on November 15, 2024 at Glen Sanders Mansion for an event that will be the talk of the town as it helps chart a path to cure, prevent, and better treat T1D and its complications.

Fund A Cure is an opportunity to make an impact on the lives of people living with T1D and their loved ones through a 100% tax-deductible donation, which will accelerate life-changing breakthroughs in T1D research. Each year, we highlight a person or family in our gala ballroom who motivates our work toward a world without T1D. This year, our Fund A Cure family is Tracy & Randy Lewis and previously was The Hover Family.

Fund A Cure donations will be invested in Breakthrough T1D and its mission to cure, prevent, and better treat type 1 diabetes and its complications.
