The Venero&#8217;s support, connect, and empower the T1D community by volunteering in many different ways. In the words of our Development Coordinator, Marianna, &#8220;They have helped tremendously with our community engagement efforts in Upstate New York, and they never hesitate to help our a T1D family in need of support!&#8221;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"179p\" data-offset-key=\"b61mh-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"b61mh-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"b61mh-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"179p\" data-offset-key=\"o9e2-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"o9e2-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"o9e2-0-0\"><strong>Heidi Venero<\/strong> was previously an Outreach Volunteer and is now our Outreach Ambassador Chair. Heidi also helps run our Monthly Family Zoom Meetings on the first Wednesday night of every month!<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"179p\" data-offset-key=\"9umn5-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"9umn5-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"9umn5-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"179p\" data-offset-key=\"6mv3s-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"6mv3s-0-0\" data-auto-logging-id=\"f8cd487d2df188\"><span data-offset-key=\"6mv3s-0-0\"><strong>Nick Venero<\/strong> is also an Outreach Ambassador, helping to welcome every newly diagnosed adult or parent\/caregiver of a newly diagnosed child to our type 1 diabetes (T1D) community.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"179p\" data-offset-key=\"fh798-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"fh798-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"fh798-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"179p\" data-offset-key=\"bsv9r-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"bsv9r-0-0\" data-auto-logging-id=\"fa4879b63aad3\"><span data-offset-key=\"bsv9r-0-0\">Their son <strong>Nicholas Venero<\/strong> is a <\/span><span class=\"_5zk7\" data-offset-key=\"bsv9r-1-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"bsv9r-1-0\">#T1DWarrior<\/span><\/span><span data-offset-key=\"bsv9r-2-0\">, and this July, he will be heading to Washington, D.C. with our Children&#8217;s Congress to represent the Upstate New York Chapter!
