Dr. Raman is dedicated to improving the lives of children and families affected by type 1 diabetes. She has led clinical, research, educational, and quality-improvement initiatives focused on improving diabetes outcomes, expanding access to high-quality care, and bringing advances in type 1 diabetes research, including disease-modifying therapies, into clinical practice.     Her scholarship includes peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and national presentations, and she has held leadership and service roles in pediatric endocrinology and diabetes at the regional and national levels. She is deeply committed to educating and mentoring the next generation of pediatric endocrinologists.     Dr. Raman\u2019s current work focuses on early detection and emerging therapies in type 1 diabetes.
