Now, more than 50 years later, Breakthrough T1D is proud to call itself a volunteer-powered organization.<\/p>\n<p>National Volunteer Week (NVW) was established to celebrate our outstanding volunteer partners who help bring us closer to cures every single day. During NVW and beyond, there are so many ways to join the movement that will turn Type One into Type None&#8230;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Fundraise to fund cures!<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The One Walk is your chance to show the world that together, we can conquer T1D. One Walks are known as the biggest T1D parties in the world. Get involved with your local One Walk <a href=\"https:\/\/secure3.convio.net\/jdrf3\/site\/SPageServer?pagename=walk_homepage\">here<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>The Ride to Cure Diabetes is about a global community committed to finding cures for T1D. The Ride is for all cyclists of all skill levels who are ready to make an impact on Breakthrough T1D&#8217;s mission. Advocates use their voice to share their stories of life with T1D with members of local, state, and national governments.
