Emerging Leaders Committee (ELC)

The Breakthrough T1D Western PA Emerging Leaders Committee (ELC) is a group of young business professionals who actively support Breakthrough T1D and type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.  Our members have unique ties to T1D – many live with it, others are connected through friends or family, and some simply have a passion for the cause. The common thread: we all want to turn type one into type none!

Why it Matters
The Breakthrough T1D Western PA ELC seeks to:
Create awareness of T1D among the Western PA area
Raise money to fund critical T1D research
Build a strong network for years of ongoing T1D funding, support, and education

We need involvement and support from Western PA business, civic, and community leaders to help us create awareness, increase membership, and continue to raise funds for vital T1D research. With this support, we move closer to creating a world without T1D.
